Matthew Kerzner

Matthew Kerzner is the Principal and Managing Director in the New England Center for Family Business Excellence. Matthew has more than 30 years of experience in organizational development with a specialization in assisting family businesses and closely held businesses with addressing succession planning, financial stability, sustainability, and human performance management matters.

Matthew works with clients to develop a strategic plan that acknowledges the issues and dynamics of both the family and the business in order to establish succession plans that prepare the next generation leaders to succeed.

Prior to starting the Center, Matt was a Managing Director at EisnerAmper Advisory LLC and led the Strategic Human Resource Services for the Center for Individual and Organizational Performance and Center for Family Business Excellence.

Matt lives in North Haven, CT with his wife Carrie and his two daughters Ellie and Jillian.

Elise Rose

Elise Rose is a Business Psychology Associate in the New England Center for Family Business Excellence. Elise is originally from Nevada, but she is finishing her two master’s degrees in Organizational Psychology and Business Administration at the University of Hartford here in Connecticut.

She has several years of experience in a variety of administrative roles, and she is now expanding her organizational development knowledge as a mentee of Dr. Kerzner.

Elise is a learning associate, and she supports Dr. Kerzner in his strategic planning, curriculum development, training program development, and marketing efforts. Elise’s mission in joining NECFBE is to learn more about how succession planning consulting can influence the positive development of individuals and organizations.
